The new mandatory code for instructors is due from late 2026. Roadsy covers the parts that come down to paperwork: terms of business pupils agree to before booking, first lesson licence and eyesight checks, accurate lesson and payment records, and pass photos shared only with the pupil's signed consent, with a parent asked for under 18s.

We started planning Roadsy back in 2017, but as our PDI training grew and we became ORDIT registered, we realised there was a huge gap in the market for a proper training platform and driving school management solution.
Our first version launched in 2021 as "Traiing" — basic but functional. Behind the scenes, we completely rebuilt the platform with a focus on security, scalability, and the features we actually needed as trainers ourselves.
In 2026, Roadsy is live and used every day by instructors, trainers, PDIs and pupils, and it now runs the whole driving school, not just PDI training.
